Bookkeeper
We are Denmark’s largest digital tax universe with more than 800,000 users! We are searching for a bookkeeper with experience in small to medium-sized businesses, accustomed to managing all aspects of accounting. With an IT-savvy accountant skillset in both improving traditional accounting tasks and technology implementation. You will take responsibility for our accounting and bookkeeping activities in Skatteguiden with our CFO, as well as support our CEO with other administrative tasks (contracts, etc.). Here you will have the opportunity to combine your bookkeeper expertise with your ability to create coherence and improve processes to make us ready for our future growth and ambitions at Skatteguiden!

You will be part of our Finance and Data team with reference to our CFO/CDO, who has the responsibility for our Data, AI, and CFO activities.
This is a unique opportunity to take your learnings (preferable at least 3 years of experience) to start from a clean sheet to make an efficient and modern accounting set up to match the future ambitions of Skatteguiden. All in direct and close sparring with the CFO and CEO.
What do we expect?
Someone with a strong drive and desire to grow. You will have the main responsibility for all our bookkeeping activities with the aim to streamline and improve the processes to make it ready for the future. You need to be Detail-Oriented to identify errors and ensure accurate accounting records, Problem Solving with the ability to recognize inefficient processes and optimize them, and Independent to be able to take responsibility for tasks and proposes improvements.
Accounting skills
- Experience in bookkeeping and reconciliation.
- Handling accounts payable and receivable.
- Creation and management of invoices.
- Payroll processing skills
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and tax compliance (Danish legislation).
Technical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably E-conomic (what we use today), or alternatively Dinero or similar platforms.
- Ability to set up and maintain integration solutions for automation (e.g., between invoicing software and accounting systems).
- Understanding of data analysis and reporting, possibly in Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
Automation skills
- Setup of automated workflows for bookkeeping and ongoing internal reporting.
